Working in a cooperative group with 3 other classmates, you will complete various steps. Before beginning Step 1, members of your group will need to assume their research roles. All group members must agree on who will assume particular roles.

Here are the roles that your group needs to assign:

Reader: This person will read the fairy tale out loud to the rest of the group.

Stereotyping Recorder: While the Reader is reading the fairy tale, this person will record any instances of male vs. female stereotyping in the characters. Write down what roles the characters play in the various situations of the tale.

Heroism Recorder: While the Reader is reading the fairy tale, this person will record any instances of heroism displayed by the characters.

Helplessness Recorder: While the Reader is reading the fairy tale, this person will record any instances of helplessness displayed by the characters.
