Working in a cooperative group with 3 - 4 classmates, you will complete various steps. Before beginning Step 1, members of your group will need to assume their research roles. All group members must agree on who will assume particular roles. This roll will be the deciding factor as to which point of view you select to research. The group will need to have the selected roles approved by the teacher.
CHOICE 1: Rolls are divided according to region: Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast.
CHOICE 2: Rolls are divided according to interest: Winter Sports, Summer Sports, History (can be a variety of time periods), Geologist, Agriculture, Native Americans, Anthropologist, etc. (The group should pick the four areas they are most interested in.)
CHOICE 3: Rolls are divided according to the classification of the point of interest: National Park, National Monument, National Grassland, National Forest, Scenic Byway, State Park, National Historic Site, etc. (The group should pick the four classifications they are most interested in.)
